Two video sculptures show images of the everyday life of fishermen from a small village in North Iceland. The artistic installation used fishing crates as screens, and it was positioned in front of a former fish storage building in the Icelandic city Skagaströnd as part of the Lights Up Festival 2024, promoted by the NES Artist Residency.

The Festival brought together ten artists from different nationalities who use light as a medium for their artworks. After one month of hard work, the event succeeded despite the harsh weather.

Because of the wind and cold, the visitors came to the Festival by car, converting the installation into a drive-in cinema theater.

Duas videoesculturas mostram imagens da vida cotidiana dos pescadores de um vilarejo no norte da Islândia. A instalação artística utilizou caixas de pesca como tela e foi posicionada em frente a um antigo depósito de peixes em Skagaströnd. A obra fez parte do festival Lights Up 2024, promovido pelo NES Artist Residency.

O Festival reuniou dez artistas de diferentes nacionalidades que usam a luz como suporte de seus trabalhos. Depois de um mês de trabalho duro, o evento foi bem sucedido, apesar do clima severo.

Devido ao frio e ao vento, muitos visitantes foram até à instalação de carro, convertendo o trabalho artístico em um cinema drive-in.
