Spit on H*tler’s Grave
19.09-24.09.2025
StadtWERKSTATT, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg – Berlin
The exhibition Spit on H*tler’s Grave – An exhibition against the far right, organized by Kreativkraftwerk, brought together artists from different disciplines to confront the current rise of authoritarian ideologies. The project asked a crucial question: what remains when ideologies have no graves?
Presented work: God Fights (2015/2025)
Two-part video work exploring the normalization of violence and hate in public space. The first part (2015) juxtaposes images of military displays and religious rhetoric in Germany, Brazil, and Finland; the second (2025) turns to everyday hate speech found in street stickers, exposing how xenophobia and extremism become quietly normalized through visual culture.
